This commission was a gift from a husband to his wife. It is of their two children.
This piece was fun to drawn. My endeavor was to show the variance of textures from skin, to hair, to jackets and backpack straps. In addition, there is a slight indication of location in the background.

Jumping rope takes a certain mental and physical disposition. You must have confidence that you can do it and your body must cooperate. Regardless of your age, you have to be youthful to jump rope. Youth is not a requirement, but youthfulness is imperative. It's call the "law" of gravity for a reason. It HAS to be obeyed. To deviate from this law, even momentarily, takes youthfulness.
This was one of my first attempts drawing my wife in profile. Learned a lot from this drawing as well.

This piece started out as an experiment with a new technique. The subject matter made me decide to complete it.
This was a quick piece done of my nephew while on a trip to Sioux Falls, SD. It could have used some refinements, but it still turned out okay.
